Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

Kundalini Yoga is the uncoiling of yourself to find yourself. But what does that mean? It’s all about energy my friends, Kundalini is the Divine Feminine energy that resides at the base of the spine. 

We raise this energy by combining movement, mantra, and breathwork. Because we all sit so much this energy has become dormant at the base of the spine. This practice awakens this energy and awakens your power. Think of a coiled serpent, this practice awakens this energy moving it upwards from the base of your spine to the crown of the head. Along the way, it begins removing blocks, past beliefs, and starts awaking you to the power that resides within all of us. 

We begin every class with the Adi Mantra 

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo 

Meaning I bow to the Divine Teacher within 

Chanting this connects us to not only the Divine within but also with all of our teachers and there teachers. Also, know as the Golden Chain. 

Throughout the class, the Sat Nam Mantra is also used. 

Sat (Truth) Nam (Name) Meaning Truth is my Name or Truth is my IDENTITY

This mantra reinforces the connection to the Divine within.

Kundalini Meditation & Creative Visualization

Most traditional meditations are silent and focus on the breath alone or some type of mindfulness technique. The thing that I love about Kundalini Meditations is they are not typically silent or still. Kundalini Meditations are filled with movement, mantra, breathwork and hand movements or mudras. I find this to be extremely beneficial for people new to meditation. We often hear that to meditate you must quiet the mind, which leads to people feeling defeated before they even begin.

The beauty of Kundalini Meditations is we move the body, connected with breath, and mantra for 3, 6, 9, 11, 21, or maybe even 61 minutes. Then we inhale hold the breath, exhale and come to a state of stillness for a couple of minutes and this is where I find the real magic happens.

In this space of stillness, I love to incorporate creative visualizations see the life you want playing out in a movie in your mind. Take this time of stillness to see yourself becoming the hero of your movie and allow it to become a reality in your life.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Classes

What can you expect with a class with Joe

You can expect a fun energizing class, focused on breath, movement, and mantra. You are always encouraged to practice with your eyes closed and sing or chant the mantras. Class is a safe place to experience what every you may be experiencing if you’re going to laugh then laugh if you feel the emotion to cry allow yourself to cry. This energy moving within you, it is your energy, you control it and it is nothing to be afraid of.

The more you work with this energy, the more you learn how to make it serve you to begin living your most authentic life.

Workshops

Creatively Manifesting Your Life -

We have been told that we need to struggle to be prosperous. We have been told without hard work you will not be successful. We have been lied to, it’s time to stop believing the lies. It’s time to change the way our mind works. In this 2 hour workshop, we will use the technology of Kundalini Yoga Kriyas and Meditations ( As taught by Yogi Bhajan ) to create new patterns of thinking, to create abundance within our life.

We will begin to Vibrate with the Cosmos, and the Cosmos shall clear the path... We are the creators of our reality, and through this practice, we will begin to create abundance within our lives that is rightfully ours.

Punch Fear in the Face -

In this incredible two hour journey as we release our fears and relax into stillness. We will be using the technology of Kundalini Yoga and Naad Yoga (the Yoga of Sounds) to break through any blocks that may be holding you back. We will use meditation and yoga to relax the mind so that we can be more receptive to our own feelings and be more receptive to the divine energy as we go about our daily lives. We will share techniques to bring balance, happiness, and awesomeness to our lives and those around us.

Living From Your Center: A Kundalini Experience
Exploring the Third Chakra and the Navel Point
A person went to a sage and said, "I want to find God."
The sage said, "God is in you."
He said, "Where?"
He said, "In your navel point."
In this two hour workshop, we will explore the Third Chakra and the Navel Point using Kundalini Yoga Kriyas and Meditations to energize, and strengthen the navel point, abdominal muscles, and lower back. To improve circulation and strengthen the nervous system so that your behavior can be constant and direct!
