30 Days of Inspiration - Sunday

Welcome to the Sunday edition of 30 Days of Inspiration. I've decided that every Sunday I'm only going to have a conversation with someone or just talk to all of you about the previous week. The reason is that this is a lot of work, and most of the paid work I do is on Saturday and Sundays so I need some time to regroup and relax if I have a moment.

This week I sit down with my best friend Michael Barata and we talk about workplace culture and what happens when you start treating your employees like adults and not like children. I know its a crazy idea, but it actually works and performance and profits increase.

Check out our talk, and follow Michael at

See you tomorrow for Day 6 of 30 Days of Inspiration

Day 1 30 Days of Inspiration - Rachel Trachtenberg

Welcome to 30 Days of Inspiration. It's my pleasure to introduce you to Rachel Trachtenberg Yoga Teacher and Retreat Leader. Rachel and I got together in the Wissahickon Creek Park in Philadelphia to create a couple levitation images. This is not my original idea, photographers have been doing this trick for years and I've been wanting to create this image in the park for years. Disclaimer this image was not created using any silly apps.. Enjoy the images and the video podcast with myself and Rachel.

Noah Julian - Co-Owner The Yoga and Movement Sanctuary

I was recently backing up images and got to the Noah Julian folders and realized over the years we have created a stellar body of work. I thought it would be fun to share a couple images and the first video we created.

When Noah and I first started creating in 2012 he was a little shy and needed a little coaxing in front of the camera. As you can see from the images the shyness only lasted about 15 minutes. By the end of our first shoot, I was making requests for one-handed handstands and playing in the middle of the road. Needless to say over the years Noah has become an amazing friend and teacher. Enjoy the stroll down memory lane. If you are interested in learning how to grow your yoga and movement practice check out Noah's offerings at The Yoga and Movement Sanctuary.

About Noah

Noah’s teaching has its roots in yoga but is not bound by tradition:  Sometimes fluid, always informative. We will look at the geometric alignment of the body and the possibilities that arise in one’s movement by correcting body mechanics and introducing old and new movement patterns.  Noah’s work is informed by intense study of music, meditation, breath work, diet, and numerous movement modalities (including: Yoga-Asana, Acrobatics, Gymnastics, various martial arts, Ballet, and WeightLifting). Noah has worked closely with yoga teachers of various styles (Katonah, Prana Flow, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Acro-Yoga), spanning well over a decade.  Having experienced severe rheumatism and a full recovery from the debilitating disease he also brings first hand knowledge of moving through physical and mental challenges.

Noah is the cofounder (with Emile Sorger of www.mysticalphysical.com) of Philly's most talked about new studio The Yoga & Movement Sanctuary!
